synopsis

The short film delves into the dark recesses of the human mind, exploring the clash between primal urges and rational thought. It portrays a character whose fear of the unknown and obsession with immutability disrupts his mental balance. Inspired by Freud and Lacan, "Corpi Estranei" (Foreign Bodies) examines human nature and pushes the boundaries of cinematic language, blending reality and fiction. It leaves "empty spaces" for viewers to fill with their imagination, showcasing cinema’s power to evoke personal, intimate visions.
