Samuel's soul finds itself in a digital world he does not know. A strange voice from the sky seems to show him the way home.
synopsis
I created this film as part of the ‘Nouvelle Bug’ workshop. Right from the start, my idea was to take a direction of total fiction, using the classic narrative epic of the video game combined with a story that represented me in an intimate way, with a new language and a dynamic, fluid editing, partly inspired by video art. All this created a filmic dimension that represents my soul and my idea of cinema.

bio
Samuele Leogrande was born and raised in Castrovillari, Italy. Throughout his childhood, he worked in his father's video rental store, which had been in operation for 40 years. After finishing high school, he traveled across Europe, working and studying English for about a year. He then settled in Milan, where he decided to pursue an academic path in acting and graduated after three years. In the meantime, he directed various experimental short films. Since 2019, he has been involved in the organization and production of the Castrovillari Film Festival.
